Worksmart combines commercial USRADAR 250 MHz and 500 MHz systems with custom-engineered vehicles and platforms developed specifically for challenging environments.
The old saying time is money was completely addressed by Worksmart, Inc with the development of our high speed rover. This equipment utilizes modified USRADAR system components to allow a single operator to cover a very large area thoroughly, in very short amount of time.
Quality of the work is greatly improved due to the lack of fatigue of on operator physically pushing or pulling a bulky antiquated system. The operator can devote their attention to interpreting the data on the screen.
Disregard for terrain that would make a push or drag system impossible to use, allows the rover to cover large areas so quickly the high resolution radar scan cost can rival that of the lower resolution EM scan.
In 2007 Worksmart produced its Kubota RTV-1100. This four-wheel-drive, diesel-powered vehicle is heavily modified and fitted with a unique, proprietary ground penetrating radar system. It began field work in April 2008 and is used for rapid large-area scanning of industrial sites, airports, and similar facilities.
Since then the RTV-1100 has successfully completed close to one thousand GPR projects. The reliability, power and speed of this equipment keeps Worksmart, inc the leader in large area scanning.
Camoplast ATV tracks were added to our workhorse RTV-1100 in 2010. These high tech tracks reduce the ground pressure of the RTV and provide incredible traction over all kinds of terrain.
Many of our sites can be snow bound and inaccessible by even four wheel drive vehicles. The Camoplast track system insures we can not only get to our project area but that we can complete the scanning anytime.
In addition our RTV with the track system can perform ground penetrating radar scans over soft sand and in areas were a low ground pressure vehicle will impact sensitive fauna less than a person on foot.
When targets are known to be in the snow (such as avalanche victim recovery missions), our custom-modified Yamaha snow machine has proven reliable. It is fitted with state-of-the-art ground penetrating radar equipment optimized for scanning under deep snow cover.
This unique remote-operated vehicle was developed by Worksmart, Inc. to accommodate unique customer requests. It has the ability to radar-scan in areas otherwise unsafe for a technician to traverse.
The R.O.V. uses our USRADAR 500 MHz or 250 MHz ground penetrating radar antenna and modified controller to scan subsurface at a pre-selected depth. The scan information is transmitted to the operator’s monitor for interpretation.
Worksmart, inc has developed and is now ready to deploy a unique watercraft equipped with multiple technologies. Surface Penetrating Radar is installed to scan shallow bodies of fresh water for anomalies buried deep in the sediment. This craft was primarily created to search the bottoms of filled water retention areas and other small bodies of water contained and adjacent to industrial sites. These have in the past been potential dumping grounds for clandestine items. Boat mounted SPR also has the ability to profile sediment layers, locate filled channels and material types.
In addition to Surface Penetrating Radar this boat is equipped with a state of the art Humminbird side imaging sonar system. This allows us to view the subsurface in a three dimensional image. Potential targets are quickly found as unusual profiles which can be marked using a very accurate GPS integrated in the Humminbird. Then the Surface Penetrating Radar is used to further investigate any potential targets.
All of our specialized metal detectors can be used with our boat since it has been constructed using the least amount of ferrous metal. No metal in the front of the boat makes it a perfect platform for our down hole metal detector.
These unique capabilities are complemented by a Humminbird side scan sonar. This unit gives us a unique look at bottom features. Potential targets can be quickly identified or marked for further investigation by our surface penetrating radar or subsurface metal detectors.
Standard systems also include trolley-mounted USRADAR units for conventional surface surveys.
